To the tune of Monopoly: Do not pass go, do not collect rave reviews.
I didn't like this book for several reasons. The romance felt weird and uneven. I couldn’t get into the characters and thought their relationship was missing something. I struggled with the time travel elements because they make sense and there were time traveling aspects that didn't mesh with the plot. It didn't add up and kept jolting me out of the story.

I also didn't like the ending AT ALL. It seemed to undermine much of what the novel had been working towards. And it seemed like a bit of a cheap trick on the author’s part. There were a lot of elements that frustrated me throughout the story.

1. I didn’t like the relationship between Jackson and Holly.
2. The story didn’t keep me vested.
3. I wished for more explanation of the time traveling elements.
And 4. There was some mature content I didn’t appreciate.

Overall it was just not my type of book. And the sad thing was I could tell from the beginning I probably wasn’t going to like it, but I kept reading, hoping I’d be proven wrong. And it had such a gorgeous cover...I was really hoping for some redemption in the story and that never happened.
