Review #1467 Shark Vs. Train by Chris Barton
Shark Vs. Train by Chris Barton, illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld
Rating: two stars (out of four)
This book was highly amusing. For the first couple of pages I was a little skeptical, because I wasn't sure how they were going to really measure these fights. I liked seeing how each opponent either had an advantage or a disadvantage in the beginning. Then the stakes got a little weirder and it got funnier. It was also comical to see the little quips coming from bystanders throughout the book. It was very entertaining, if not ridiculous at times and the illustrations deftly portrayed their crazy antics and scenes. I can easily see kids laughing while reading this book. I'd probably recommend.
