Book Review #1320
Paranormalacy by Kiersten White
Rating: four stars (out of four)

I had wanted to read this book because of the hype I had seen on Goodreads and other bloggers. And you know what? The story did live up to their expectations! This story was fresh and original. The main character, Evie, was unlike anyone I had ever met, and yet I still found her remarkably relatable. I loved her spunk and witty asides. I cracked up on more than one occasion while reading. The story was engaging and I loved all the different creatures and paranormals. The world was fascinating and I kind of fell in love with Lend - he really was sweet. All in all, this was a good read in the YA field and a super refreshing story with a set of believable characters. I wouldn't say that it was my favorite book of the year, but it was definitely in the realms of "Ah! Good read!" I'd recommend.
