Book Review #1009
Simple Secrets by Nancy Mehl
Rating: two stars (out of four)
This was an engaging story and I was sucked into the plot from the very beginning. I couldn't figure out what was going to happen next and I kept reading because I wanted to see how the mystery was solved. The characters were pretty realistic, but I felt like the romance was just a little far-fetched. I guess I just wanted a little more substance. I got a broad picture of the town and the quirks and mannerisms of the people while reading. I enjoyed this book, but I probably wouldn't recommend unless you were a particular fan of this genre.
