Book Review #983
Nothing But the Truth by Avi
Rating: two stars (out of four)

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this book was. Sure, it was showing how corrupt a system could get and how one event can sadly lead to a chain of events that disrupts an entire community, but I felt like most of this was common knowledge. Or maybe it's just the homeschooler in me saying, "Of course this would happen, it's a public school institution, what would you expect?" Still, for people who might not believe these kind of events, this might be a real eye-opener. It was also told in an interesting format, if not a little annoying at times. I didn't like the main character at all, but I think that was part of the point. The ending was disrupting, but in a good way and it showed you how far all of the characters had fallen. I didn't enjoy reading this book though, so I wouldn't recommend.
