Book Review #980
Missing May by Cynthia Rylant
Rating: two stars (out of four)

I loved the language of this book and how the author crafted poignant sentences and paragraphs that acurately described the character's mood or feelings. What disappointed me the most with this book was how short and simplistic the plot was. I liked the characters and wanted to get to know them better, but the book ended. There were a couple of parts where I had tears in my eyes. I almost gave this book the next rating up, but it was just missing a crucial "something" that would have made it better. I might recommend this book.
