Book Review #950
Zlateh the Goat by Isaac Bashevis Singer, illustrated by Maurice Sendak
Rating: two stars (out of four)

Some of the stories in this book were kind of random, but because they were translated from Yiddish there might be some cultural differences. Most of the stories were enjoyable, but a little strange. A couple of them seemed pointless and I thought the characters had behaved very strangely. I might recommend, if you were interested in folklore from different cultures.
