Book Review #428
Rosa by Nikki Giovanni, illustrated by Bryan Collier
Rating: one star (out of four)
This book was very disjointed, it almost felt like there were pages missing, it jumped from one scene to the next. I thought it was a nice touch that the author wanted to fit in all aspects of this story, but the way they did it only made it jumbled and confusing. I wish this book had been a little more thought out, with direct references as to why some people were in the story and an explanation to what their roles were. As it is, I wouldn't recommend this book.
